We will start at 10am and expect the session to last for approximately 2 hours but you’re more than welcome to stay as long as you like

What we’ll be doing in the woodland:

  • Removing non-native invasive species – including Western Hemlock and Beech regeneration
  • Pruning branches overhanging paths
  • Pruning shrubs
  • Litter picking

 

What to wear/bring:

  • Dress for outdoors – clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
  • Boots or wellies recommended.
  • Drink and a snack

For people who want to pick litter the litter pickers and bags will be provided.

If you have them:

  • Work/gardening gloves
  • Pruning/bow saws
  • Loppers/Secateurs
  • Spade/pick/mattock
  • Garden rake

Expert advice and guidance will be available on the day.

These monthly sessions will be held on the 1st Saturday of each month.

Everyone welcome. Under 16s must accompanied by a responsible adult.
