MAC are issuing this leaflet to appeal to you to come along to the AGM.

MAC is run by the people of Maryburgh for the people of Maryburgh, but each year the board member numbers are reducing and we now need your help.

MAC owns the amenities centre which was built in the 70’s, but now the hall desperately needs to be refurbished and brought up to a modern standard with new lighting, heating insulation and dressing rooms.

MAC are in discussion with The Highland Council to extend the ground lease around the hall to improve the chances of securing grants and funding to carry out the works.

Throughout the year there are various tasks to be completed where people in the village could help by offering their knowledge and expertise – you don’t need to be a board member to do this.

If however, you do wish to serve on the MAC Board you need to be a Member. If you are interested email contact@maryburghhub.info and an application form will be sent to you to complete/return.

If you are not interested in becoming a Member of the Board/Committee please remember any offer of help is of huge value when events during the year come around such as the Gala Day. Without additional help the Gala Day cannot go ahead.

If you wish to help, but do not want to be on any Committee/Board, please email contact@maryburghhub.info as we would like to have a register of people willing to help and MAC will make contact with you when required.
