Maryburgh Community Woodland Group invite you to take part in our spring plant hunt event.
The aim of the event is to provide the community with an opportunity to learn about the variety of plants that exist in our community woodland and having some fun in the outdoors along the way. We will be focusing on spring flowering plants and bulbs, but all species can be recorded, including trees. All of the data collected will help inform future management of the wood. Don’t worry if you don’t know your dandelions from your daffodils! The event will also be supported by local plant experts from the Botanical Society of the British Isles who will help us all identify and appreciate the plants we find.
No Phone? – No Problem!
