The Maryburgh Gala Committee have great pleasure to announce Charley Sutherland as this year’s Gala Queen, with Niamh Buchanan and Chloe Sutherland as her attendants.  We hope you all have a lovely day.

Mrs J Thornton has been invited to crown the Queen and we are pleased that she has accepted.

Weather permitting, the Queen and her attendants will be piped by the Strathpeffer Pipe Band.  Once crowned, the Bicentenary Flag will be raised.  Eilidh Will from Grant Crescent designed the winning flag.  All entries will be on display in the Hall.

As there has been forty years plus of Maryburgh Galas, the Committee thought it would be a nice idea to gather as many past Gala Queens and attendants for a group photo, please see the timetable at the stage for details.  Please help spread the word.  Hazel the Lollipop Lady has taken many photos over the years, so please check out the slideshow on the indoor stage for more moments in bygone years.

The Hall will be open all day Friday for donations for the bottle stall etc.

Please note there will be no door-to-door collections.

Raffle tickets will go out as normal.  If you have an item that needs picked up, please phone 01349 867206.  Thank you in advance for your donations.

We need all the delicious home baking we can get, this is always a very busy stall and runs out fast.  Maryburgh – make Mary Berry proud!

As you may have noticed from the gala timetable opposite, we are having a Race Night.  This is a BYOB event.  The Gala Quiz will take place later in the year.
